Originally I wanted to explain my reason for choosing Circular Logic as the name for this blog, but I realized that I don't have to explain anything that I don't want to explain, so I'm not going to. Instead, I'm going to attempt to face the challenge of defining Kelly Jean Root Filkins. And rather than trying to explain all of it in one long posting, I'm going to honor each piece of my life with a separate posting. Reflecting on each of the things I love will help me keep things in perspective.
Demographically, I'm a 30 year old female, married to my best friend since April 5, 2003. We have a house in Dunkirk NY, one dog, two cats, no kids. I'm a guidance counselor at a rural junior-senior high school. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at St. Bonaventure University. That's also where I earned my "Mrs.". I like skiing in the winter, biking in the summer, eating ice cream all of the time, reading, creating, computing, and all kinds of girly stuff. My biggest passion is the environment. I was green LONG before being green was popular. If anyone noticed me in junior and/or senior high school, they could probably confirm that. But it's more likely that no one noticed me ;)
